Today, we leave Siem Reap, Cambodia and head for Bangkok, Thailand.
I have a love/hate thing going on for Cambodia— I love the temples, I love walking in the streets, I love the night market, I love Pub Street. However, I hate the heat, most especially the 16-hour bus ride from Ho Chi Minh City that we had to endure.
Oh, I swear my feet got swollen due to lack of activity, just imagine sitting inside the bus (with faulty aircondition) for one day with all the detours and road bumps, under the sweltering heat of the sun. And another thing— we were driving along a very dark road with nothing but land and trees, when the driver fell asleep while driving. Honestly, I think I lost five years of my life in that bus ride.
Anyway, enough with the rant. Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Ta Phrom made up for all the exhaustion after all, so I’m good.
Here are a few photos that I took using my phone, I lowered the resolution because the WiFi is a bit slow.
