Question of the Day

“Hate is not the opposite of love, it’s apathy.”

My college professor in Philosophy of Religion used to tell us, her students, this. She explained that hate is an intense emotion, as well as love, ergo the state of not feeling anything or not caring at all is the opposite. I get her point.

Feeling something no matter how negative is better than not feeling anything at all. Or is it?

If someone you love has wronged you, would you rather be angry or would you prefer being apathetic?

If given a chance, which would you choose?

OAK thinks your prof is right.Today or tomorrow hate will turn into love. But being indifferent is like being dead.

Tell me what you think!
